Between 16 – 22 August, Pasifika Film Fest (PFF) will curate a film program for the Fakaapo Tuvalu Arts Festival in Tuvalu. Activities will include:

• a daily program of films, including Q&A’s and panel sessions
• a program of digital installations from Pacific screen artists
• the Future Now Filmmaking Challenge
• acting workshops for Tuvalu students

The primary objective of PFF’s presence during the Fakaapo Tuvalu Arts Festival is to deliver a program of activities comprising engagement of the Tuvalu community with Pacific screen stories, connecting aspiring Tuvalu screen artists with ways to create their work, celebrating the close ties of the Pacific community in Australia with their Tuvalu cousins, and facilitating another pipeline of climate storytelling for climate justice in Tuvalu.
