Australia will deliver a vibrant program of cultural collaborations across the Pacific region from June to December 2026, to celebrate the deep connections between Australia and  our Pacific partners.

A series of arts and cultural performances, collaborations and exchanges will take place as part of the Australian Government’s flagship public diplomacy initiative  Australia now. 

Collaborative initiatives such as joint performances, residencies, workshops, and cultural heritage and preservation projects will attract new audiences and build stronger partnerships.

Alongside activities in the Pacific region, this edition will showcase Australian and Pacific talent at Australian cultural events to deepen Pasifika engagement and increase understanding and visibility of Pacific cultures in Australia.

At its heart, this is about building relationships for the future. We invite you to become an Australia now: Pacific edition partner to strengthen these connections, expand your reach to new audiences, and unlock fresh opportunities for engagement.
